Biography
From a young age Harry has had a love of performing. He is currently a student at the University of Worcester where he is studying for an MA in Touring Theatre, but still finds time to sing at every available opportunity. He has played dame in the last two pantomimes with the University's Musical Theatre Society and will take every opportunity to fit a song into any production he's in!

Harry discovered his love of performing through a middle-school production of Guys and Dolls, where he played the role of Nicely-Nicely Johnson. Since then he has performed in numerous musicals, including Sweeney Todd, Phantom of the Opera, South Pacific and Grease.

His first introduction to the world of Swing and Jazz music was through the film of Guys and Dolls, starring Frank Sinatra. He counts Sinatra as one of his main musical influences, along with Bobby Darin, Matthew Ford and Michael Bublé.

Harry’s previous experience as a Swing singer comes from his time at County Upper School, where he was a vocalist for the school Swing Band. He sang a variety of numbers with the band, including Beyond the Sea, I’ve Got You Under My Skin and Night and Day and performed at a variety of local venues as well as on a tour of Suffolk, Virginia (USA).

Outside of singing, Harry has formed his own theatre company in Worcester, Play the Subtext, who first performed Harold Pinter’s play The Dumb Waiter which was very well received. They have since dedicated themselves to becoming a new writing company, giving a platform for local writers to have their work performed. Harry produces, directs, acts and writes productions for Play the Subtext alongside other current students at the university. They hope to build on their success so far to create a regularly performing company after they graduate.
